WorldMAC Alliance

The WorldMAC Alliance is the largest section of the World Martial Arts Council and is open to all martial arts groups regardless of system, style or membership numbers, and all individual practitioners of any martial art recognized by the WMAC Executive Board.  Any martial art group or organization representing disciplines associated with the martial arts may register free of charge.  Any individual involved with any of these may either register free of charge, or apply for a WMAC International Licence with or without student or instructor annual insurance cover. All individual applicants and groups automatically receive a unique registration number, are entered into the international database, and are immediately recognized worldwide.

The benefits of registration for groups and individuals include full sponsorship to national and international events for those selected to represent the WorldMAC Alliance, discounts on events and competitions, merchandise, travel, accommodation and family holidays, university accredited educational seminars and courses, free promotions including television coverage, a free demonstration or teaching DVD production service, newsletters and access to relevant sections of the WorldMAC website, subsidised overseas youth and cultural exchanges involving training programmes, and financial rewards for officiating at competitions.  The WorldMAC Alliance has a rigid programme of open all-styles competitions at regional, national and international levels involving all martial arts, and the proceeds from these support the WorldMAC Foundation, which is the charitable arm of the World Martial Arts Council.  The Worldmac Academy was established to provide full and part-time courses, together with distance learning programmes specific to the martial arts, leading to fully recognized academic qualifications.  WorldMAC Leisure provides holidays, training courses, seminars, educational and leisure pursuits at residential centres for all age groups at destinations worldwide.  In addition, advice on training and grading procedures, coaching awards, insurance and legal matters, club management, personal and business finance, first aid, competition organizing and technical courses is freely available.
