Level 3 Award in Education and Training
The qualification is the minimum standard for all those teaching in the learning and development sector. It introduces the knowledge and skill required by teachers to develop and deliver programmes, provide learners with support and be able to take responsibility in managing the learning process with adults. In response to recommendations made by a government commissioned independent review panel, teaching qualifications have been simplified and re-named.
*This qualification replaces the Level 3 Award in PTLLS.
Level 3 Delivering Conflict Prevention & Management Training
This qualification is suitable for all those who aim to deliver training for the security Industry. It would also benefit those who wish to deliver Conflict Management training in any other sector.
Level 3 Delivering Physical Skills Training
This qualification is suitable for all those engaged in the provision of providing training to others in the physical management of challenging and violent behaviours, for security industry training as well as in any other sector.
Level 3 Health & Safety in the Workplace
This three day health & safety training course is suitable for supervisors, owners, team leaders or managers responsible for health & safety. It examines health & safety from a supervisory perspective. Supervisors have both a legal and moral responsibility to look after the health & safety of employees. This qualification will enable managers and supervisors to improve the health & safety culture of their organisation, whatever its size or activity.
*This course will also enable trainers to deliver Level 1 and Level 2 Health & Safety qualifications (with appropriate training qualifications).
First Aid Trainers Workshops
This one day trainers workshop would enable a trainer, with and existing teaching/assessing qualification (like the education and training above) and Level 3 FAW, to deliver accredited first aid qualifications.
Self-Defence Trainer's Workshops - Train the Trainer's Course for Men, Women, Children or Over 55s Self-Defence
A short course for instructors wishing to deliver self-defence training that covers raising awareness, avoiding situations and improving confidence. The course’s practical techniques are based on the most common attacks for each group type, and all techniques are risk assessed to the Institute for Conflict Management (ICM) standard.
Online e-learning and course books are available for all theory and/or pre-course material.
